Book number 14 of 2021 was Ask Again, Yes by Mary Beth Keane. I found many of the characters very relatable with lots of depth and layers. Sometimes when a book follows a characters life over decades the information can feel fragmented, not at all the case in this one, Keane seamlessly layered in tidbits of important details and flipped back and forth between past thoughts or stories and present time. A quick easy read following two children from birth through a life changing event that throws them in opposite directions. Will they find their way back to each other?
